JESSICA PFEIFER STEWART, PSYD
Clinical Psychologist
ABOUT
BACKGROUND
I hold a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Williams James College (formerly the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology) as well as a Master’s degree in sport psychology from Boston University. I have over 10 years of experience providing individual and group psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings including hospitals, mental health clinics, and on colleges campuses.

WORKING WITH ATHLETES
I have extensive personal and professional experience within sport: I was a competitive athlete through college and then went on to coach at youth and collegiate levels for eight years. These experiences combined with years of graduate study and training in sport and clinical psychology have allowed me to develop an expertise in understanding athlete mental health. I currently see many athletes in individual therapy and consult to several organizations regarding best practices in supporting athlete and student-athlete well-being.
LICENSURE AND PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
I am licensed as a psychologist in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. I am currently a member of the American Psychological Association, Rhode Island Psychological Association, and the Association for Applied Sport Psychology.
