JESSICA PFEIFER STEWART, PSYD
Clinical Psychologist
ABOUT
BACKGROUND
I hold a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from William James College and a Master’s degree in sport psychology from Boston University. I have over 15 years of experience providing psychotherapy across hospitals, outpatient clinics, and collegiate settings.
In addition to my clinical work, I have spent the past decade designing and leading integrated mental health and performance systems within Division I athletics. This work has involved building programs from the ground up, embedding psychological services within high-performance environments, and collaborating closely with coaches, medical staff, and administrators to support both individual athletes and organizational functioning.

WORKING WITH ATHLETES
My work with athletes extends beyond individual therapy. I specialize in the integration of mental health, performance psychology, and sport science within complex systems.
I have developed and implemented comprehensive models of care that address:
- Individual athlete mental health and performance
- Team dynamics and culture
- Staff collaboration and communication
- Organizational structures that influence well-being and performance
This systems-based approach allows for meaningful, sustainable impact—supporting not just athletes, but the environments in which they develop and perform.
